Are you a Mechanical Modeller with strong Autodesk Plant 3D experience? Join a multidisciplinary engineering team working on water, wastewater, industrial, and process plant projects, where you'll contribute to innovative infrastructure solutions from concept through to detailed design and construction support

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Develop and maintain detailed 3D mechanical and piping models using Autodesk Plant 3D
Produce general arrangement, piping, fabrication, and construction drawings
Coordinate mechanical models with civil, structural, process, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination sessions
Generate material take-offs, equipment layouts, and detailed design deliverables
Ensure designs comply with project standards, specifications, and quality requirements
Provide technical support during design development and construction phases
Support BIM and digital engineering workflows to improve design quality and project efficiency

Skills & Experience:

4–6 years' relevant experience in mechanical and piping modelling
Advanced Autodesk Plant 3D experience is essential
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and 3D model review processes
Understanding of mechanical layouts, piping systems, equipment integration, and fabrication drawings
Experience within water, wastewater, industrial, process plant, mining, or related infrastructure projects advantageous

Qualification:

National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, BTech or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Draughting, or a related field
Experience with Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Inventor advantageous
Familiarity with BIM workflows and digital engineering environments advantageous
