SUMMARY:
We are recruiting a qualified Mechanical Draughtsman for our Client in the Manufacturing Mining industry

POSITION INFO:

Mechanical Draughtsman

Benoni

Minimum Qualification:

Mechanical Draughtsman

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years in mechanical equipment design, highly proficient in machine design.
Experience in the design of: Rotating equipment; Crushers; Vibrating equipment; and other dynamic equipment would be advantageous. Alternatively: pressure vessels; Clarifiers / Thickeners; mining equipment; earth moving equipment.
Integral interworking of: Drives, shafts, gears, bearings, plumber blocks, contact rollers. Added experience in sealing systems would be advantageous.
Site experience in measuring equipment & trouble shooting for the purpose of designing fit-for- purpose solutions.
Strong references are mandatory.

Key Performance Areas:

Duties:

Modelling & assemblies and detail drawings of OEM equipment.
Checking of drawings done by other draughtsmen.
Site measurements of equipment, chute work, and structures
