SUMMARY:
Our Client, an Independant Automotive Workshop based in the Kyalami Area seeks a Qualified Mechanic to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles according to manufacturer/OEM standards.
Perform complex electronic, electrical and mechanical diagnostics using approved diagnostic equipment.
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, braking, suspension, steering and cooling system faults.
Conduct pressure testing and other specialised diagnostic procedures to identify vehicle faults.
Complete vehicle inspections and identify potential mechanical and safety issues.
Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and within required turnaround times.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used and diagnostic findings.
Conduct quality-control checks and road tests after repairs.

Minimum Requirements

Trade Tested Mechanic
Min of 8 years’ experience within a Dealership Environment essential
Able to converse in English and Afrikaans
Must have own basic tools
