JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a retail/eCommerce/marketing environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Must have previous experience with SEO and google analytics
Excited and passionate about technology
Creative and a master at strategizing
Affinity with numbers
Entrepreneurial and excited to take on new initiatives
Strong problem solving, highly analytical, attention to detail with solid organizational skills
Credible leadership skills for a strong team and results orientated delivery
Ability to think big and deliver from concept to execution
Decision-making abilities with strong analytical skills
Must be resilient, open to feedback and assertive
Relator and relationship builder

DUTIES

Establish and submit a marketing calendar
Produce content and manage all social media platforms (IG,FB and Twitter)
Establish, run and maximise Google Ad campaigns and digital marketing spend
Brief in artwork and design
Assist various departments with internal and external marketing communications (e.g. newsletters etc)
General marketing duties to support senior management
Social media and website management
Track and report on campaigns
Update and load new product listings on WordPress site and list products on marketplaces such as Take A Lot, Loot, Makro, etc
Accurately forecast and develop a campaign demand plan and ad spend to provide the business with a clear roadmap to meet financial objectives
Ensure trends are monitored with changes identified timeously for re-forecasting and adjust accordingly
Provide insightful reporting & analysis for weekly sales, monthly management reports, marketing review, quarterly concepts, and ad hoc requests
Analyse trends relating to key variables within campaigns and put forward proposals for improvement
Increase customer demand and basket size to deliver intake targets and drive organic growth through innovation
Engage and challenge the different business units to improve conversion
Monitor campaigns and channel performance, taking proactive actions to improve any underperformance
Work closely with sales to achieve business objectives in line with the campaign plan
Drive process improvements in campaign execution and collaborate with IT to improve systems and processes in this area
Develop A to B Testing to find new opportunities to drive sales
Understand the investment influence to drive a digital-first strategy to achieve campaign objectives
Social Media and Website management ( Woo Commerce/WordPress experience a must)
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Salary: R20,000-00 dependent on experience
