Marketing Intern (FTC)

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Marketing Intern to join a well-established marketing and manufacturing company with extensive experience and a strong footprint in the personal care market, both locally in South Africa and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate marketing graduate to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, innovative environment and grow their skills across multiple marketing platforms.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with a good result for Mathematics (not literacy) – preferred Marketing Degree or Honours degree (including Finance/Business Science grads) or IMM Diploma.
• No work experience necessary
• High attention to detail and accuracy, comfortable working with numbers and creative artwork.
• Computer and Excel skills
• Great team working skills
• The ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken word)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Own reliable transport

• Assisting on gifting related tasks
• Creating value of contents tables
• Copywriting
• Putting together packing instructions
• Assisting with CAD forms
• Assisting with completing Bill of Material forms
• Assisting with the overall bag project where required
• Assisting with mock-ups on the gifting project
• Researching competitors’ offerings and pricing
• Setting up planograms where required

• Meticulous and deadline driven with a good eye for detail, yet dynamic and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to cope whilst under pressure.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner with both internal and external interfaces and at all levels.
