Marketing Manager – FMCG / Retail | Durban

Are you a creative, hands-on marketing professional ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives that drive brand growth and commercial success. This is a role where strategy meets action—you’ll not only shape marketing plans but also roll up your sleeves to bring them to life.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement marketing strategies that strengthen our brand and support business growth.

• Manage the full marketing mix: campaigns, promotions, digital marketing, in-store activations, and brand communications.

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and merchandising teams to align marketing with commercial objectives.

• Plan and execute product launches, promotional agendas, and trade marketing initiatives.

• Monitor campaign performance, optimize marketing spend, and deliver measurable results.

• Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and partners.

• Oversee marketing budgets and ensure initiatives are cost-effective.

• Maintain brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

• Provide hands-on support in marketing operations, including campaign implementation and collateral development.

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of FMCG and/or retail marketing environments.

• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Effective communicator and stakeholder manager.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

Bonus Skills

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.

• Experience with digital marketing, trade marketing, and cross-functional teams.

• Passion for creating campaigns that make an impact in retail and FMCG sectors.
