POSITION INFO:

The Marketing Co – Ordinator will report to National Training Manager. As a marketing and social media coordinator, you will manage the company’s online and offline presence by developing a strategy, producinggood content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns through brand awareness, advertising and marketing. The brands we manage are currently in the FurtherEducation and Training Industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop creative and engaging social media and offline content for each brand and product
• Understand and develop knowledge on BBBEE and its effect on and opportunities presented for skills
development marketing opportunities
• Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Website
• Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms
• Create engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms
• Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the brands
• Create brochures, presentations & Sales packs for clients
• Undertake audience and client research
• Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
• Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms
• Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social
media activity as well as market trends related to our product and services
• Analyse competitor activity
• Recommend improvements to increase performance
• Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
• Encourage collaboration across teams and departments

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric Certified
• Solid Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
• Bachelor of Commerce Marketing Degree
• Valid Driver’s license – code 08 with own permanent and reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel nationally
• Atleast 2 years Marketing Experience
• Good understanding of Internet services, networking and marketing principles
• Basic understanding of online and blended training at FET or Higher Education level
• Ability to master and work with Wordpress or other website platforms in such a manner that the Company
websites can be internalised and controlled

• Solid understanding of the effectiveness and use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to
advertising/branding and customers in a meaningful and gainful manner.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to manage the website to writing successful
and engaging content for Instagram and Facebook adverts, using effective storytelling techniques
• Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
• Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
• Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
• Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills
• Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
• Project and campaign management skills
• The ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics across various social media platforms
• Online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct
discussion with potential and actual customers
• An excellent eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of BBBEE and its potential market opportunity for training and skills development as
related to the Company
