Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a dynamic, creative, and strategic Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute key marketing initiatives. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s brand vision and messaging is communicated effectively across all channels. The Marketing Coordinator will manage national and international events, digital marketing efforts, social media strategies, PR, and stakeholder engagement activities. They will also be responsible for organizing international marketing opportunities and exhibitions. The role demands someone who can understand the brand tone, live the brand, and create a vision for its future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Execution:
- Understand and communicate the brand vision, message tone, and values.
- Ensure all marketing materials, communications, and strategies align with the company's brand.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of the brand, helping shape its future direction and growth in the market.
- Advocate for the brand internally and externally, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution.
2. Event Coordination & Marketing Opportunities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute industry-focused events, webinars, and exhibitions with a national and international focus.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, marketing collateral, and post-event analysis.
- Source and secure relevant marketing opportunities and exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
- Develop sponsorships and partnerships with key industry players to expand the brand’s reach at major events.
Digital Marketing & Social Media Management:
- Lead and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), and email marketing.
- Curate and create engaging content across digital platforms to amplify brand presence and drive lead generation.
- Track, measure, and report on the success of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly to improve results.
3. Marketing & Travel Coordination:
- Coordinate local and international trips for the marketing team, senior management, and key stakeholders related to marketing opportunities and exhibitions.
- Manage logistics, including travel arrangements, event schedules, and team itineraries for local and overseas marketing initiatives.
- Identify and pursue global marketing events and opportunities that align with the company's business goals and expansion efforts.
4. Public Relations & Media Liaison:
- Act as the PR liaison for the company, managing media relations and proactively pitching.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and company announcements to maximize press coverage.
- Build relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers to promote company news and thought leadership.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to strengthen the company’s presence in the industry.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure all communications are aligned with the company’s objectives and market position.
6. Thought Leadership & Speaking Opportunities:
- Identify, coordinate, and secure speaking opportunities for senior leadership, especially the Managing Director (MD), at national and international industry conferences, webinars, and panels.
- Assist in developing presentations, speeches, and other materials that highlight the company’s expertise and leadership in the industry.
- Keep track of emerging industry trends and relevant events to position the company as an industry thought leader.
7. Marketing Strategy & Reporting:
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing strategies align with overall company goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or a related field, particularly in digital creation, digital marketing, event coordination, and PR.
- Proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience in managing national and international marketing events and handling travel logistics for events and exhibitions.
Education:
- A degree is not essential but would be beneficial. Experience in relevant fields is more important.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of brand management, with the ability to live and advocate for the brand.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
