SUMMARY:

A well-established manufacturer of shade net for the agricultural, industrial and mining industries is seeking the above to manage all of their marketing activities, related materials, social media, events and special promotions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must have a Marketing degree or diploma
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a Marketing position will be required
  • Event Planning experience will be highly beneficial
  • Must have strong computer software skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and video editing
  • Excellent Social Media knowledge is important
  • Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Planning & preparing all media partner material to maximize brand promotion.
  • Creating the annual marketing budget and strategy.
  • Managing all online and print content.
  • Maintaining Digital Marketing, SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Analysing and reporting on all online marketing platform performances.
  • Generating marketing campaign strategies.
  • Creating content.
  • Generating a quarterly digital strategy calendar.
  • Planning and coordinating events.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
  • Assisting management and sales teams with research and idea-generation.
  • Presenting industry topics and events the company and teams should be involved in.
  • Coordinating sales campaigns with involved parties to boost market share.
  • Promoting and distributing internal communications that drive core values and change management.
  • Performing PR functions.
  • Communicating with managers/clients to understand the marketing needs and objectives.
  • Responding to daily enquiries via the website and social media platforms and forwarding these queries to their respective stakeholders.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
