SUMMARY:
Marketing Assistant- Pietermaritzburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a junior to mid-level role which will support the marketing department. It is office-based with a focus on design and product information administration.

Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.
Creating marketing materials.
Maintaining a marketing database.
Understanding the company products and brand.
General office duties.
Organising market research.

Requirements and skills

Excellent knowledge and competency in MS Office (including Word, Excel).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including photoshop and Illustrator.
AutoCAD knowledge is essential. Computer programming knowledge would be highly advantageous.
The individual would be expected to spend the majority of their time working with a variety of software, ensuring accurate information transfer and being able to seamlessly work between the different programmes.
A high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Well-organized
Good communication and people skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
