POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing support and administrative assistance to the Head of Marketing and the Events Co-Ordinator on all internal and external marketing initiatives, campaigns, promotions and events. The Marketing Assistant will furthermore form part of the Company’s Social Committee, who holds the responsible of coordinating internal staff functions and campaigns with the aim of maintaining healthy levels of employee morale, and alignment between the internal culture/ employee behaviors and the overall Company Vision and Brand Promise.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing/ Business, or still studying towards such qualification
- Certificate or Diploma in events management - highly advantageous
- At least 1-2 years relevant work experience within a marketing assistant capacity.
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles and technologies
- Good understanding of market research techniques
- Exposure to the Short-Term Insurance or Financial Services Industry - highly advantageous.

Key Performance Areas
- Provide administrative support and assistance in the co-ordination of all broker focused initiatives, events and promotional campaigns.
- Positive contribution and participation in all daily/ monthly activities that stem from the overall Marketing Strategy.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the effective functionality and coordination of the department''s activities.
- Developing effective and supportive relationships with brokers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in conducting market research and analyzing and reporting ''client'' feedback.
- As a member of the Social Committee, ensure that all planned internal initiatives and events succeed in maintaining healthy levels of staff morale.
