SUMMARY:
A newly established company is looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing & Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our digital presence across key platforms. This role requires a hands-on individual who can create engaging content, drive customer engagement, and generate leads that contribute directly to business growth

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Proven experience in social media management (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
Basic video filming and editing skills (e.g. CapCut, InShot, or similar tools)
Strong understanding of social media trends and content performance.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and execute tasks efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Manage and maintain company accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Plan and execute daily content posting schedules.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
Grow audience engagement and increase followers organically.

Content Creation:

Develop and produce high-quality short-form video and visual content.
Create engaging, trend-driven content aligned with brand objectives.
Stay up to date with social media trends and implement relevant ideas.

Lead Generation & Conversion:

Drive traffic and generate customer inquiries through social platforms.
Direct potential customers to WhatsApp, phone channels.
Collaborate with the sales team to support lead conversion.

Digital Advertising (Advantageous)

Plan, manage, and optimize paid campaigns on Facebook and/or TikTok.
Monitor budgets and campaign performance.
Improve return on investment through testing and optimization.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Monitor key metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, conversions)
Analyse performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports.

Market Research:

Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Recommend new strategies and campaign ideas.

Localization:

Develop content tailored to the South African market.
Ensure messaging aligns with local culture and audience preferences.
Communicate effectively in English (additional local languages advantageous)
