Position available for a qualified and experienced Marketing & Sales Manager in Midrand.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

We are on the hunt for a talented and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to report to the CEO. We need a mature, self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales and marketing. In this position, you will be responsible to track market developments, create strategies, set up sales and marketing plans to get Universities/TVET and other customers on board for the company''s offering and meet annual sales and marketing targets set.

 

  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales and marketing targets.
  • Cultivating lasting relationships with Universities/TVET customers to grow customer base.
  • Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing objectives.
  • Working with Universities/TVET customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify needs.
  • Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Establishing a sales training program to train new employees.
  • Meeting with sales managers to assess company performance.
  • Prepares and completes marketing action plan.
  • Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
  • Improve marketability/profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Sustain rapport with key account making periodic visits

Desired Experience & Qualification

  1. Suitable degree
  2. More than 5 years experience in a similar role
  3. Able to work with tight deadlines
  4. Excellent negotiation skills
  5. Time management skills
