Mandarin Supply Chain Administrator

POSITION INFO:

• Order management: Process orders, resolve delivery queries, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Supplier coordination: Update supplier trackers, manage communication, and prepare supplier performance reports.
• Data management: Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity throughout the supply chain process.
• Administrative support: Place requisitions, support managers with reports, and assist with various administrative duties.
• Problem-solving: Investigate and resolve supply chain issues, such as delivery problems or stock shortages.
• Process improvement: Help review, amend, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

• Education: A Senior Certificate (Matric) is typically required, with a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration being highly desirable.
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role, or in supply chain, import/export, or logistics, is often preferred.
• Technical skills: Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel), is essential.
• Soft skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with a customer-focused approach 

• Experience with specific software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Knowledge of import/export procedures

• A professional qualification, such as one from CIPS, is a significant advantage for career progression.
