My client is based on the West Rand and is looking for a suitably experienced Manager for Network Planning (Supply Chain). This role is manage the inventory deployment in the SC network to ensure optimization of stock flow and space utilization as well as fresh production planning. SA citizens onlyl

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key requirement:

Degree
5 years plus planning experience
Advanced computer literacy
Open to work shifts and/or public holidays, weekends when required
Ability to apply job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level

Key responsibilities:

Manage the inventory levels per warehouse
Maintain a 98% OFR per product group within the branches
Manage load distribution to branches
Preparation of deployment forward plan
Manage warehouse capacity
Manage principal factory/deployment planning
Report on deployment activities and warehouse stock situation
Continuous improvement of deployment systems and reporting
Manage the production of beverages
Manage the deployment planning team

This role will entail building high performing teams so people management skills are critical. It will also be customer focussed and the key candidate will be pro-active and action orientated.
