Manager Depot (Fuel)

Job Overview:
Looking for a highly motivated and organized Depot Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, motivating, and supervising daily depot operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to valued customers. This role is crucial in managing fuel distribution, stock control, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safety of the depot and road tankers
• Optimize static storage and tanker capacities
• Manage stock levels, depot assets, and enforce environmental compliance
• Safely handle and store hazardous fuel materials
• Execute route planning to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
• Support fuel marketing initiatives
• Ensure full statutory, financial, and administrative compliance
• Carry out ad hoc tasks related to depot and logistics operations
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Leverage networks to identify new business opportunities
• Implement and adapt digital tools to improve business processes and customer experience

• National Diploma in Logistics (or equivalent)
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in fuel depot operations and fuel tanker maintenance (advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Valid EB driver’s license
• Willingness to work irregular hours, as dictated by fuel supply and demand conditions
