POSITION INFO:
We collaborate with leading players in South Africa’s asset management and investment industry who are regularly looking to strengthen their finance teams with experienced Management Accountants. While there is no active vacancy at present, we are proactively building a network of exceptional professionals for upcoming roles in Gauteng and beyond.
Typical responsibilities in this space include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and delivering decision-support insights to senior leadership. You’ll often work closely with fund managers, finance directors, and operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting, Finance or equivalent (CIMA or CA(SA) preferred)
3–5 years’ experience in a management accounting role, ideally within financial services or investment management
Strong understanding of budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic reporting
Proven experience working with investment products, fund performance metrics, or portfolio cost analysis
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.)
Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate insights, and influence decision-making
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially driven
