Maintenance Technician (FMCG / Retail)

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician / Assistant to join a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role focuses on general maintenance across retail stores, ensuring facilities remain operational, safe, and well-maintained.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

General maintenance and handyman duties (tiles, plumbing, basic repairs)
Attend to day-to-day store maintenance issues
Assist with servicing and upkeep of air-conditioning units
Ensure minimal disruption to store operations

Requirements

Formal qualification in Maintenance | Plumbing | Electrical
SA local citizen
Valid drivers licence
Basic maintenance/handyman experience (essential)
Air-conditioning experience (advantageous)
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Must live near Linbro Park or surrounding areas
Willing to travel occasionally (KZN & Cape Town)
Available for weekend emergency call-outs when required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (with standby for emergencies)

Salary: R15 000 – R17 000 pm (depending on experience)
