SUMMARY:
MAINTENANCE STOREMAN
Location: Cape Town

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS: 
- Matric.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a workshop or engineering environment.
- Storeroom experience working with machine parts.

ROLE OVERVIEW: 
The Storeman manages maintenance stocks, ensures accurate issuing and recording of spares and tools, prevents losses,
and maintains stock levels, supporting smooth workshop operations in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a workshop or engineering environment.
• Expert knowledge of engineering principles.
• Industry knowledge in FMCG.
• Food safety knowledge.
• Adherence to safe working practices.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel knowledge; experience with C-Works is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
• Willingness to work a five-day week.
• Availability to work overtime when required.

• Ensure that all materials are available and issued according to maintenance requirements.
• Maintain all stock levels in accordance with specifications.
• Eliminate stock losses and shrinkages.
• Prevent redundant stock.
• Receive and issue spares.
• Issue tools and equipment.
• Maintain stock control records according to company standards.
• Conduct a monthly stocktake of spares.
• Ensure housekeeping of the store.
