SUMMARY:
An Engineering/Manufacturing concern is seeking a Maintenance Millwright (PTA East) with 3 - 5 yrs maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably in the Automotive production environment).
Experience on Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Requirements:

Matric /Grade 12 or N4 / Trade tested Artisan - qualified Millwright
Stronger Mechanical than Electrical
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Mechanical and technical skills
Deadline driven - ability to work under continuous pressure
Physical stamina and strength. Shift work and standby.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and machinery in the production plant.
Perform millwright duties and responsibilities as per maintenance requirements and relevant specifications
Install, assemble and repair machinery and equipment
Perform preventative and routine maintenance
Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagrams
Operate hand and power tools, and welding, cutting and measuring equipment
Conduct fault finding, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
Test equipment to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
Adhere to HSE procedures, 5S and Housekeeping standards
