Machining Manager

SUMMARY:
Company based in Randburg is seeking a skilled Machining Manager to join their team.

We are seeking a highly experienced CNC / Machining Manager to oversee machining operations, lead a skilled team, and ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and capable of managing both people and complex machining requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Proven managerial experience within a machining or CNC environment
• Ability to operate and program 5-axis CNC machines
• Senior-level experience in machining and production
• Proficient in Mastercam
• Strong experience with both lathe and milling operations

• Oversee daily machining operations and ensure production targets are met
• Manage and lead a team of machinists and operators
• Program, set up, and optimize CNC machines (including 5-axis)
• Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement process improvements
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently
• Maintain safety and compliance within the workshop

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
