SUMMARY:
An opportunity exists for a Machinery Technician: Automation Customer Support within the Technical and Engineering sector.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification Requirements:

- Electrical qualification with three phase certificate

Skills requirements:

- Mechanical fault finding and problem solving.

- Knowledge of all spheres of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics.

- Electrical fault finding and problem solving.

- Knowledge of PLCs and PCI based IO systems.

- Servomotors, Stepper motors and implementation into automation machines

- Knowledge of PC hardware, windows and basics of linux.

- Customer telephonic support and problem solving.

- Good customer relationship skills.

- Basic computer coding skills would be an advantage. (Any language.)

The position is for technical back up and support in Johannesburg and other areas. Travelling may be involved. Position would be home based, therefore the candidate would need to be organised and self driven.
