SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing industry has an opportunity available for a Machine Operator to be based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

High school diploma or technikon equivalent
Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
Working knowledge of safety protocols
Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
Trade tested would be beneficial
PLC programming certification
Proficiency in math
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms

Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains blister packaging, sachet, pill compression & bottle filling machines
Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task
Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
Maintains inventory of completed products
Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
