SUMMARY:
Our client in the Technology Industry has an opportunity available for a Machine Operator, to be based in the Sandton area. This will be a temporary position for 2 months.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum N3 in Electrical Engineering, or related qualification
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a Machine Operator in a high volume manufacturing environment
Basic Mechanical skills
Ability to interpret and work from established Standard Operating Procedures
Attention to details

Duties:

Operate production machinery while continuously monitoring the quality of output and machine performance
Make machine adjustments using company-supplied hand tools and other supplies as needed to ensure product quality and production speed
Communicate all pertinent issues as they relate to quality, production or maintenance directly to the Shift Leader
Perform routine operator maintenance of machinery
