POSITION INFO:

As a Machine Operator you will mainly learn to work with heavy machinery. You will assist with the installation of equipment and help maintain it by performing periodic tests and repairs.

You may work with computer operated equipment or with mechanical equipment. You will learn to install machines, operate them to aid in plant processes, and perform routine maintenance checks.

You must be self-motivated, team player who have an aptitude for learning and machines.

You will work under an experienced technician during your apprenticeship period. You will gain hand-on experience in the following;

Setting up machines to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings
Feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
Inspecting parts with precision and measuring tools
Testing operation of machines periodically
Fixing issues that might occur during the shift
Checking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintaining activity logs
