Overview
We are seeking Machine Operators to support and expand our current operations at our established facility in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and efficiently operating a pillow pack flow wrapper packaging machine, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate pillow pack flow wrapper packaging machines
- Ensure efficient production output in line with targets
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance and safety
- Monitor machine performance and report faults or issues
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience operating packaging machinery (flow wrapper experience advantageous)
- Physically fit and able to operate machinery
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Reliable, committed, and willing to go the extra mile
- Flexible and adaptable in a multi-skilled environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
