Established Wine and Spirit Manufacturer seeks a Mid/Senior Graphic Designer to be responsible for supporting the design team in the execution of day-to-day creative work assigned to the in-house design team, including developing concepts, implementing design strategies, and producing visual aspects for corporate and brand marketing materials, across interactive, promotional, and packaging designs. The ideal candidate is a team player who can juggle varied tasks, is detail-oriented, takes direction well, and brings a unique perspective and edge to our creative team. We are seeking someone who eagerly wants to learn, is a self-starter, and shows initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Design for print & digital based on various brand CI’s
• Design brand portfolios and sales presentations
• Develop new concepts & packaging
• Maintain and update existing designs
• Photography & Editing
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years graphic design work experience will be non-negotiable
• Work experience in an FMCG environment will be highly favoured

Skills Required:

• Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite programs especially Photoshop & Illustrator.
• Good understanding of PowerPoint.
• Proven track record with quality designs that have been pushed to the marketplace.
• Strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design principles and production methods for digital, print, packaging, branding, typography, catalogue production, and more.
• Advanced knowledge of contemporary media, trends, and technologies.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects at the same time; keen attention to detail.
• Successfully manages time, priorities, workflow, and schedule to meet deadlines; able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Possess solid presentation, listening, and communication skills with clients.
• Open and receptive to design critiques, while also able to confidently and respectfully represent reasons behind design choices.
• Resourceful – able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict project timelines and budgets.
• Self-driven, proactive, team player.
• Photography & Videography skills a plus.
• Ability to function well under pressure.
• Willing to work in a corporate environment.
