POSITION INFO:

Role Overview

The Marketing Assistant provides hands-on executional, administrative and creative support . Working within a lean marketing team, this role supports the Marketing Managers and Marketing Coordinator in delivering mall marketing, partnerships, CRM, social media, content and day-to-day marketing activities.

The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, creative and comfortable managing multiple tasks across a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

Key Responsibilities

Mall Marketing & Partnerships

• Drive and support the execution of mall marketing campaigns and activations across the brand portfolio.
• Coordinate marketing requests, bookings, artwork, assets and deliverables with mall marketing teams.
• Assist with partnership activations and ensure agreed deliverables are completed.
• Maintain records and trackers for mall marketing activity and partnerships.

Community Management

• Monitor and manage social media communities across relevant brand accounts.
• Respond to customer comments, queries and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
• Escalate customer service issues and relevant feedback to the appropriate teams.
• Monitor community sentiment and identify recurring customer feedback or opportunities.

Content Creation

• Assist with the creation and coordination of social media and digital content.
• Develop basic social media assets and marketing collateral using Canva.
• Assist with content calendars, captions, briefs and content scheduling.
• Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

CRM & Email Marketing

• Assist with the planning and execution of CRM communications across the brand portfolio.
• Design CRM emailers using Canva and/or relevant email marketing platforms.
• Write and edit CRM copy and subject lines.
• Maintain CRM campaign calendars and assist with reporting on campaign performance.

Copywriting

• Assist with copywriting for social media, CRM, mall marketing, digital campaigns and other marketing communications.
• Proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand tone of voice.

Wholesaler & Partner Management

• Coordinate day-to-day marketing requirements with wholesale partners.
• Assist with the distribution of marketing assets, campaign information and brand communications.
• Maintain accurate records of wholesale marketing activity and requirements.

Budget & Financial Administration

• Create and process purchase orders (POs).
• Assist with invoice administration and follow-ups with suppliers and finance.

Marketing Team Support

• Provide day-to-day support to the Marketing Managers and Marketing Coordinator across multiple brands.
• Assist with presentations, reports, campaign trackers and administrative requirements.
• Coordinate marketing assets, samples, collateral and other campaign requirements.
• Support the team with ad hoc marketing projects and activations as required.
