POSITION INFO:

Seeking 2 skilled Long Hole Rig Operators to operate and maintain our HPS H80 LHR equipment at mine sites.

Locations: Rustenburg (x1) & Carletonville (x1)
Conditions: Underground mining environment (shift work)
Safety: Strict adherence to PPE and protocols

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate (or equivalent)
• Valid Blasting Certificate
• Drill Rig Operator Certification
• 3+ years as a Long Hole Rig Operator
• Experience with HPS equipment (advantageous)
• Medically fit for underground work
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-use inspections using checklists
• Operate HPS H80 LHR to drill holes according to design specifications
• Monitor for gas hazards, ground conditions, and ventilation
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and component replacements
• Perform scheduled maintenance on rigs and related equipment
• Complete shift reports and operational records
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators
• Assist with other tasks as required by supervisors
