Are you ready to take your mining career to the next level? We’re looking for a skilled Long Hole Rig Technician to join a dynamic team in the underground mining sector. If precision, safety, and technical excellence are your strengths, this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain long hole drilling rigs in an underground environment.
- Ensure accurate drilling according to mine plans and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Train and supervise operators to maintain high performance and safety.
- Complete detailed reports on drilling activities and equipment status.
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):- 5+ years' experience in long hole drilling and rig maintenance.
- Valid Long Hole Drill Rig Certificate (MQA or mine-recognized).
- Matric qualification.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding underground conditions.
- Clear criminal record.
