SUMMARY:
Company with a African footprint within their industry seeks the expertise of a well qualified candidate to efficiently handle the day to day requirements of Logistics, Warehousing, and Stock - receiving and dispatch.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Degree or Diploma related to Warehousing and Logistics or Supply Chain

Requirements

5 years minimum experience in Logistics and Warehousing with excellent knowledge in Import, Exports and Transportation / INCO terms and documentation
Valid Drivers License
Willingness to work long hours when needed
Staff management, safety management, developing standards manage processes, surveillance skills, inventory control, reporting, and equipment maintenance

Duties

Manage the imports and exports and the documentation and insurance thereof
Expediting
Logistics report
Oversee exports and local deliveries packaging
Ensure cargo is packed in accordance of international standards
Arrange and oversee SGS
Rate per CM3 and volumes
Follow the 3 quote system
Execute receiving and dispatch
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents
Execute quarterly stock counts
Recon stock counts
Maintain physical condition of the warehouse
Prepare annual budget, scheduling expenditure, variances and corrective actions
Stock return to suppliers for repairs
Ensure well labelled stock
Introduce stock procedures
GRN''s
Obtain BOM from Projects team
Allocate equipment and materials for technicians
