SUMMARY:
Our client, a well established, dynamic and growing importer and distributor of consumer goods, seeks to employ a Logistics and Operations Supervisor/Coordinator, with a background in e-Commerce distribution, to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that only candidates resident in Cape Town will be considered due to the urgency to fill the role and candidates who have experience in e-Commerce platform distribution will receive preference.

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have completed Matric (tertiary qualification in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain is advantageous), coupled 5-10 years in logistics and/or inventory management, ideally in a fast paced distribution centre.
You will experience in inventory management of imported goods, documentation management for imports and export returns, as well as managing the procurement of quality packaging materials.
You will have natural leadership qualities, be able to motivate and manage the warehouse team and increase productivity and efficiency.
Experience in important export documentation, clearing and forwarding and related documentation and processes are essential.
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
