Logistics Supervisor (Inbound and Outbound)

The Inbound & Outbound Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating transport operations and to ensure safe and accurate receipt of stock into the warehouse.

• 3rd Party transport management
• Statutory compliance (Transport act)
• Peak period planning
• Ensure operational procedural compliance (SOP)
• Ensure that all distribution / transport administrative functions are executed
• Ensure that inbound and Transport distribution KPI`s are achieved
• Ensure that periodic reporting is produced, analysed and published to the required stakeholders as required
• Ensure timely and accurate data input
• Identifying continuous improvements initiatives
• Exercise Objectivity in an ethical manner.
• Product Safety & Hygiene Management Systems
• Oversee the physical , chemical microbiological & allergen hazards that could affect product safety & quality (CCP’s).
• Eliminate & reduce perceived hazards
• Develop working , inspection & operating procedures
• Oversee the implementation of critical limits & monitoring methods
