SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Logistics Shift Leader to coordinate warehouse and logistics activities. The role ensures products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, in the right quality and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Management

Conduct shift start-up activities and complete required checklists.
Conduct Green Area meetings and communicate key information to employees.
Manage attendance and ensure adequate staffing.

Load Preparation & Dispatch

Ensure customer orders are picked and packed within required standards and timeframes.
Ensure packing complies with customer specifications.
Verify correct parts, bins and labels/Kanbans.

Logistics Processes

Ensure adherence to logistics processes and procedures.
Apply the Company''s escalation process, including the Stop–Call–Wait principle.
Complete accurate end-of-shift reports.
Identify and escalate operational issues timeously.

People & Customer Service

Lead, motivate and develop logistics team members.
Ensure employees are adequately trained and competent to perform their duties.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Logistics or Production.
Industrial Engineering qualification will be advantageous.

Experience Required:

2–5 years'' experience in warehousing and logistics.
Experience within the automotive manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
Experience managing employees working on a rotational shift system.
Experience managing dunnage, vehicles and loading equipment.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leadership role will be advantageous.
