Export Logistics Coordinator & Data Analyst
The Export Logistics Coordinator & Data Analyst will be responsible for managing daily stock movements, coordinating export logistics with service providers and shipping lines, and ensuring the integrity of operational data and reporting.
The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with strong organizational, communication, and numerical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Export Logistics Coordination
• Oversee daily stock management and loadouts.
• Arrange vessel bookings and prepare shipping instructions.
• Coordinate export load execution with third-party service providers (freight forwarders, shipping lines, etc.).
• Track shipments and keep stakeholders informed of progress, potential delays, and exceptions.
Export Supply Chain Financial Controls
• Update and maintain total supply chain costings for export markets.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize routes and reduce transport costs.
• Verify and approve logistics-related expenses.
Export Administration & Reporting
• Update systems, export schedules, stock levels, and program volumes.
• Conduct data analysis and develop reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain efficiencies.
• Highlight and report any data inconsistencies or process exceptions.
Market Awareness & Continuous Improvement
• Stay informed of market trends, product developments, and industry best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance export processes and data quality.
Essential Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Relevant experience in export logistics, preferably within the fruit or agricultural sector.
• Strong analytical and numerical ability with advanced data management skills.
• High computer literacy, particularly in Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Self-motivated, driven, resilient, and humble in approach.
