SUMMARY:
A well-established company based on the East Rand is seeking a Logistics Controller to join their team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Education: Matric / Any relevant tertiary education is essential

Minimum Experience: 3 – 5 years

Computer Packages: Pastel

Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following:

Inventory control of approximately 500 items from B/L to delivery to the warehouse
Knowledge of clearing instruction of containers
Knowledge of Tariff Codes and SARS customs is required
Strong imports and exports knowledge
Relevant reports on movement of stock, slow moving stock and obsolescent stock required monthly
Reconciliation of inventory and supplier reconciliations
Communication with shipping lines / agency / SARS of containers details
Must be able to work in KG’s and Tons
