Logistics Administrator (Exports)

SUMMARY:
Responsible for incoming containers with CBU’s as well as Liasing with Bidvest on the unpacking of containers. Making sure each unit allocated and send for conversions are released out of the bond stores. Ensuring all back and stock orders are allocated as well as assisting dealers with order queries. Preparation of shipping instructions for all imports and exports shipments.Responsible for dispatching all missing manuals to dealers on a weekly basis. Assisting the Sales Administration Team with dealer claims by first approving all claims . Investigating Marine Claims to send to India for approval/rejection. Back-up and support for Logistics Assistants and Inventory & Debtors Clerk.

POSITION INFO:
Must Have : Formal Certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
2-3 years experience in shipping and logistics management in the automotive industry
- Proficient in using computer software and tools, particularly advanced Excel functions.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional telephone manner with the ability to handle sensitive and emotional conversations.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
