Who We Want to Meet
Library Aids who meet the following criteria:
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document
Minimum Requirements: Grade 10. Competence in literacy and numeracy. Basic knowledge of book repair work.
Core Functions / Characteristics:
- Perform functions to support professional library staff in the provision of a public library service
- Shelving of library material
- Mending of books
- Physical processing of library material
- Assist with preparation of halls/activity rooms
- Serving refreshments
- Perform general cleaning tasks inside/ outside of the library
