The Role: Lettings Negotiator
The Lettings Negotiator will be responsible for managing applicant enquiries, coordinating viewings, and negotiating successful lettings deals in the London property market. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This is a full-time office-based role in Cape Town, working UK business hours.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am -7:00 pm (UK time)
- Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (UK time)
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (UK time)
- Please note: South Africa is 1-2 hours ahead of the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Register, qualify, and manage applicant enquiries
- Coordinate and manage property viewings with the support of Viewing Assistants
- Maintain regular communication with applicants and record all interactions accurately
- Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to ensure smooth deal progression
- Work closely with Directors to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
- Stay up to date with lettings legislation, property values, market trends, and competition
About You
- Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in customer service or sales, ideally within the property sector
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, ambitious, and enthusiastic with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to build rapport quickly and influence people effectively
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail
- An understanding of the London residential property market is highly advantageous
- Experience using Qube SLM and Goodlord platforms is a plus, but not essential
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
