Learnership (Finance) – Johannesburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Learner provides administrative support to the Aesthetics Finance Team of the company. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Finance team and alternate between the departments to ensure efficiency. Candidate is to work with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accounts are up to date. Assist finance team in reference to audit requirements by providing necessary documents. Learner should carry strong interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to change in a fast pace environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

ØAccounts Receivable & Customer Service:

ØWork alongside Snr AR Analyst to prepare, reconcile and report of accounts to be opened by customers.

ØManage accounts of customers by updating details.

ØInvestigate payments which are unidentified or not accepted at the point of payment.

ØLiaise with Shared Service Center, management and other departments on customer accounts, queries, and overdue amounts.

ØAssist with general admin support to Snr AR Analyst.

ØImprove service levels to customers.

ØFP&A Analyst and Demand Planner Department:

ØWork closely with FP&A Analyst and Demand Planner in ensuring proper collaboration and continuous improvement in the finance department.

ØUnderstands the trends in market.

Ø

ØGeneral admin support:

ØProvide support to finance team with admin requests, necessary to improve financials metrics.

ØAssist with audit requests by ensuring it complies with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organization policies.

Ø

Minimum Requirements:

ØEducation & Experience:

ØUniversity degree: Bcom Finance.

ØFluency in English and preferably one other language.

ØStrong analytical skills.

ØAbility to multi-task. Team player.

ØExcellent communication skills.

Ø

ØCommitted, credible and enthusiastic with an action-oriented approach.

ØDemonstrated abilities in Cross Functional collaboration and working.

ØExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

ØStrong inter-personal, motivational skills.

ØExperienced using a range of IT packages, including copy approval system, databases and Microsoft software to a high standard.

Excels in a fast paced and dynamic environment, calm under pressure.
