POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Lead Generation Specialist

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

 Job Purpose

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and qualifying potential clients to support business growth for a training/skills development company . This role focuses on generating high-quality leads for training and skills development solutions, building a strong sales pipeline, and contributing to revenue targets.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Research and identify potential clients across various industries.
• Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective clients.
• Identify decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organisations.

 Client Engagement

• Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce training solutions.
• Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and readiness to engage.
• Schedule meetings and hand over qualified leads to the sales team.

 Market Research

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and skills development needs.
• Identify new market opportunities for training services.

 CRM & Reporting

• Capture and manage all leads and interactions on CRM systems.
• Track lead conversion rates and provide weekly/monthly reports.
• Maintain accurate records of client engagement activities.

 Collaboration

• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align campaigns and strategies.
• Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Number of leads generated per month
• Qualified leads passed to sales team
• Conversion rate from lead to opportunity
• Number of meetings/appointments booked
• Contribution to overall sales pipeline

   Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (advantageous)

 Experience

• 2–4 years’ experience in lead generation, telesales, or business development
• Experience in training, education, or skills development sector (preferred)

• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
