Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Champion data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives across all business units.
• Define and enforce data architecture standards, ensuring consistency and transparency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

• Education:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience:
  
  • 8+ years in data, analytics, or technology roles within banking, telecommunications, or insurance.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven success in bridging business and technology for enterprise-wide data delivery.
• Skills:
  
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse, SQL, and data integration platforms.
  • Knowledge of South African data governance and compliance regulations.
• Non-Negotiables:
  
  • Demonstrated ability to execute analytics use cases and lead data governance frameworks.
