POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric is essential.
• Must be qualified as a Draughtsman.
• Minimum 3 years as a Laser Programmer within the Automotive Industry.
• Must be fluent in MS Office.
• Programming experience on TruTops Boost.

• Program, perform and run TruTops Boost program.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed and adhered to.
• Ensure that daily minimum targets are met by supplying the laser for both day- and night shifts.
• Quality check program in accordance to Quality standards set out.
• Daily reports (scrap management and daily programming).
• Minimise wastages, rejects and scrap during programming.
• Reduce offcuts in WIP by programming for Operators to cut.
• Read and interpret complex schematics or technical drawings and troubleshoot accordingly.
• Stock counts.
• Time studies.

• Effective time management.
• Able to troubleshoot when problems arise on the drawings or machine.
• Communicate effectively with Development Engineers and Plant personnel.
• Ensure all parts are programmed with correct quantities.
• Ensure that all drawings are updated, and the latest products are being programmed.
• Able to use various measuring equipment like tape measure, vernier, scale, etc.
