SUMMARY:
LEGAL PERSONAL ASSISTANT needed for well-established firm in the CBD - Cape Town

Salary will be based on skill and experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Matric is essential
Beneficial: A post-matric qualification ( Paralegal diploma/Estate administration certificate )
Beneficial: Experience with high-net-worth individuals
Beneficial: Experience in general Trust administration including preparing of administrative documents to register a new trust, routine correspondence with the Master’s office and with beneficiaries
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in legal /deceased estates/fiduciary environment
Experience in administration of deceased estates from inception to completion, including preparing documents to report estate, initial and follow up correspondence to all relevant institutions, drafting of Liquidation and Distribution Accounts and general active management of files
Must have previous experience working with clients and have excellent communications skills
Honesty, integrity, accountability and responsibility of the highest order
Client relationship and service-orientated attitude
Fluency and proficiency in English is essential
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Experience of and familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to take initiative
Ability to work as part of a team
Interest and desire for continuous learning
