SUMMARY:
LEGAL ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE is ESSENTIAL (Strictly EE female candidates only)

POSITION INFO:

This position will report to the Legal and Ethics Executive.

Degree / Experience

- A degree in law such as LLB
- Admission as an Attorney + 2-3 years post admission experience
- Experience in construction contracts such as NEC, JBCC and FIDIC
- Advantageous - experience in a construction environment with emphasis in contract administration and management from a legal perspective
- General legal exposure
Language
- Excellent English communication skills is mandatory (verbal and written).

Provide Contract Administration support
- Create, Maintain and Update contractual data on a functional reference system
- General Legal Support and advisory for the businesses
- Assist with all aspects of negotiation, reviewing, compiling and finalization of Contract Agreements and Legal Documents
- Advice on implications, variations, risks and suggested course of mitigation related to contractual documents
- Reviewing of contracts at tender stage
- Monitoring of contractual compliance
- Sound Contracts knowledge to assist Project Manager and Business Stakeholders
- Meeting short deadlines and work on high standards of Ethics and performance
- Providing general legal advice to all divisions
- Collaborate with other divisions for quick execution of assigned responsibilities
