With 30 years experience and having enjoyed outstanding success, they are looking to expand the support team and are on the hunt for a passionate L2 Support Engineer to join the Cape Town team. (In office role - Century City)

POSITION INFO:

Based in Century City, our client is one of South Africa’s leading IT companies, with a national presence in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town. Known for service excellence and cutting-edge tech, they’re expanding—and you could be next to join the winning team.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver advanced desktop and network support to a wide range of clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Work across environments including Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Handle escalations, ticketing, and client support with confidence and clarity
• Document processes, issues, and resolutions thoroughly and accurately

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in advanced desktop support (L2)
• Microsoft certifications (proof required)
• Own car and valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills 
• Experience supporting server environments, networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Familiar with ticketing systems and escalation workflows

🎓 Qualifications & Skills:

• IT certifications like CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCP, or similar
• Qualification in Computer Science, IT Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently
