SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking hardworking and reliable Kitchen Staff to support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, and maintaining high food safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Wash, peel and portion food items
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Receive and store stock correctly
• Assist chefs and other kitchen staff as required
• Dispose of waste according to company procedures

• Grade 12 (Matric) advantageous
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and hardworking
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
