POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in strategic accounts.
Understand the customer's business strategy, priorities, and challenges.
Develop and implement joint business plans (JBPs) with key accounts to achieve mutual growth targets.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Drive sales growth across assigned key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to increase product penetration.
Monitor and achieve sales targets, profitability, and volume objectives.
Customer Negotiations:
Lead annual and ad-hoc negotiations on pricing, trading terms, promotional support, and new product listings.
Ensure agreements are aligned with company policies and profit margins.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal departments (marketing, supply chain, finance, category management) to deliver customer expectations.
Act as the liaison between the customer and internal teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Promotions & Trade Marketing:
Develop promotional strategies in collaboration with the marketing and trade marketing teams.
Ensure execution of promotional plans and evaluate ROI on promotions.
Forecasting & Planning:
Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist with demand planning and production.
Monitor stock levels and manage supply chain issues to minimize out-of-stocks and ensure service levels.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track and analyse account performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
Use data to make informed decisions and improve customer performance.
Team Leadership (if applicable):
Mentor junior key account managers or account executives.
Drive a high-performance culture within the account team.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing
5–10 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the FMCG sector
Proven track record of managing large retail accounts
Experience with category management and joint business planning
