POSITION INFO:

Junior Project Support Officer
Cape Town

We are looking for a passionate individual, who would want to build a career within the projects space. You will be joining our dynamic team in the capacity of Project Support Officer, working closely with our Projects & Campaign Manager. Please note that this role is based within a cybersecurity company.

Required Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate administrative support functions
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Outlook
* Ability to analyse, prepare and generate comprehensive reports/documentation in relation to contract administration.
* Knowledge of meeting procedures, recording and production of agenda/minutes.

Responsibilities:
→ Work closely with Project Manager to ensure projects are developed to align with agreed objectives and requirements.
→ Assist and support the appropriate Project Team in engagement activities with User Groups and other external project stakeholders to ensure the project is developed to align with agreed objectives and requirements
→ Support effective communication and liaison processes with project stakeholders including internal staff, management and other external project stakeholders are implemented
→ Support and assist the delivery of projects, including alignment to project scope, budget and program, management of contracts, contract payments and contract administration in conjunction with Project Managers
→ Assist with the preparation of project reporting mechanisms and ensure they are communicated with internal and external stakeholders as required. Ensure, in conjunction with Project Managers, that project resources are efficiently and effectively managed
→ Help to set up project meetings
→ Administrative duties
→ Assisting with keeping project schedules up to date
→ Filling and organizing project information through a comprehensive CRM system
→ Carry out other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directed from time to time
