Junior Tech & Marketing Support Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client in George is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and tech-savvy Junior Tech and Marketing Support Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will provide support to customers and assist the marketing team with a variety of activities, including software support, product testing, customer feedback, digital marketing, social media, website updates and event coordination.

POSITION INFO:
Description:
Customer & Technical Support

• Assist customers with basic software and technical queries.
• Provide professional and friendly customer support.
• Investigate customer issues and assist with troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant team members.

Software & Product Support

• Test new software features and updates.
• Identify, document and report bugs or technical issues.
• Provide feedback on software functionality and usability.

Marketing Support

• Assist with email marketing campaigns.
• Assist with social media content and updates.
• Assist with website updates and basic content management.
• Support product launches and promotional activities.
• Assist with webinars, demonstrations and company events.

General Administration & Team Support

• Provide general administrative support to the team.
• Assist with data capturing and maintaining accurate records.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Pure Mathematics and Accounting would be advantageous.
• Good computer literacy.
• Genuine interest in technology and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
